Islamic Philosophy Department was established through the system of presidential decree No 239 in 1983 to establish Arabic Studies College. When the private name of the faculty was changed to Dar-Aulum faculty by the republican decree 470, in 1999, the name of the section has not been changed. Department Features :First: The Section Career 1. Prof. Dr. Mahfouz Azzam. 2. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Mohammed Salamah 3. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ali soldier. 4. The dead Prof. Dr. Abd El Dayem Suleiman Ell-Khatib. Then added to the section by employing all of 1. Prof. Dr. Essayed. Mohamed Sayed assistant professor in the department and who was appointed to the position of teacher. 2. Dr. Gamal E-Deen Mahmoud Gouma, who was appointed to be instructor in the department and promoted to the degree of being a professor in the department. 3. Dr. Mohammed Ali El-Salheen by transferring from of Islamic Studies the Department Faculty of Arts Minia University He was sent to Germany to study. 4. Prof. Dr. Mr. Abd El-Sattar Mihoub who was appointed as a teacher and then continued his scientific studies until becoming professor. 5. Dr. Mohammed Salameh Abd El Aziz ,assistant professor of the department and who was appointed as an Instructor at the department then got a Master's degree and also was sent to France and received his Ph.D. and became assistant professor in the department. 6. Dr. Mahmoud Massoud Chiba was employed as an Instructor in the department then got Master's degree and then was sent to France and received his PhD to be promoted as an assistant Professor within the section. 7. Dr. Zain El-Deen Abd El- Basier Khataab was appointed an Instructor in the department and then as an assistant professor in the department and finally a professor. 8. Prof. / Mohamed Ali Ismail, Instructor in Philosophy Department of . Administrative Functions of The Department Within the Faculty 1. Prof. Dr. Mahfouz Azzam was appointed Faculty Dean. 2. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Salameh who supervised on the College and then was employed Vice dean. 3. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali El-Ghendy was appointed Faculty Vice Dean of Postgraduate Studies Affairs. 4. Prof. Dr. Sayed Abd El Sattar Mihoub was employed Faculty Vice Dean of Postgraduate Studies Affairs for twice and has many scientific writings. 5. The dead Prof. Dr. Suleiman El-Khatib, The former chairman and has his scientific contributions in the defense of the nation issues. 6. Dr. El-Sayed Mohamed Sayed Abd El-Wahab assistant professor in the department, Head of Arab Studies Journal, Head of Arabic Manuscripts Center Commissioner of Philosophy Department Presidency and has his missionary and documentaries contributions to Egyptian television, and specialized channels. 7. Dr. Abd El- Aziz Mohammed Salameh assistant professor in the department and has his scientific contributions through his participation in international conferences and his contributions in the advocacy fields through community faculty activity 8. Dr. Mahmoud Massoud Shaybbah assistant professor in the department with his contributions to the scientific aspects advocacy field and writing field in specialized journals 9. Dr. Gamal El-Deen Mahmoud Gouma teacher in the department and supervisor of athletic faculty activities in addition to his participation in the Department Council and various faculty councils 10. Dr. Muhammad Ali El-Salheen, teacher and has his contributions to the faculty activities as well as the advocacy field, "Social Faculty Activities and also his contributions in the field of "Holy Quran 11. Dr. Zain El-Deen Abd Ell Basier, a teacher in the department. 12. Prof. Mohamed Ismail, Instructor in the department .

Islamic Philosophy department is a great model of the cultural extension of Dar-Aulum Faculty Mission as its scientific subjects by its diversity and suitability of students abilities of Dar-Aulum faculty enables it to form the scientific mentality of those students, which prepares the students to get work professionally and practically. And also prepares them morally, that is a social contribution leads to successful product and contribute to achieve the professional aspects with its diversity, whether in Education or Media field with its cultural and religious diversity, which cannot be grew without this scientific group of staff members who are responsible for the educational process in the department. : In this sense , the department confirms all of these points as following 1. Upholding the intellectual sources of our Egypt. 2. Enlightening the students and researchers with the right thought reasonably. 3. Anti-Intellectual against the attempts of excluding University assets scientifically . 4. Welcome constructive criticism, which contributes to correct the concepts. 5. Emphasis on using cooperation with various departments of the college, as well as the same departments in Egyptian and Arab Universities.
